ABOUT THE MAKER

406 Vinyl Art | Livingston, Montana

406 Vinyl Art is the creative work of Sara Mattson, a Livingston local whose Montana story began a little unexpectedly.

Sara first came to Livingston in 2021 while working as a traveling dialysis nurse. While she was here, she met Darren, a Livingston firefighter—and, as Montana sometimes has a way of doing, Livingston gave her a pretty good reason to stay. Today, Sara calls Livingston home while continuing to travel throughout Montana for her work as a dialysis nurse.

Outside of nursing, Sara puts her creativity to work through 406 Vinyl Art, creating handcrafted items inspired by Montana, Livingston, and life under the Big Sky. Her collection includes apparel, drinkware, decals, gifts, and other vinyl creations, with designs that celebrate the places and personality that make Montana home.

LuLu’s Montana Market has proudly carried Sara’s creations since August 2024, and we love being able to share the work of a maker who isn't just creating Montana-inspired products—she's become part of the Livingston community herself.
