Crazy Mountain Coffee Roasters is a proudly woman-owned and operated specialty coffee company founded by Dru Hayes in 2021. Raised in Shields Valley beneath the iconic Crazy Mountains, Dru learned the art of coffee roasting from her stepfather and his brothers, who collectively brought more than 100 years of experience in the coffee industry. After years of apprenticeship and hands-on learning, she returned home to Montana to build a business rooted in family tradition, quality, and community.
Today, Dru roasts small batches of ethically sourced specialty coffees from around the globe at her roastery in Big Timber, Montana. Her mission is simple: provide exceptional coffee while supporting responsible farming practices and sharing her passion for great coffee with customers throughout Montana and beyond.
