Elliotts of Montana began in a small catering kitchen in 2003, but the family recipes and entrepreneurial instinct began much before that. Owner, Rita Elliott, grew up on a farm in Power, Mt. She went on to meet her husband, Stuart, after they both attended Montana State University, and moved back to the Elliott farm in Fort Benton, Mt.
Rita began perfecting her family’s cookie recipes in the historic small town of Fort Benton, as a way to help her daughter’s school fundraising efforts. She had run a catering business for 20 years and decided it was time for a new venture.
Together, she and her daughter Lyndee Elliott Haire have been creating wholesome foods ever since. Now located in Bozeman, Elliotts of Montana brings fresh treats and mixes to Montana and beyond with its classic ready-to-bake cookie dough, dry mixes, pasta w/ sauce mixes and trail mix.
