About Highlander Beer

Highlander has deep roots in Montana beer history. The first Highlander Beer was brewed in Missoula in 1910 and became a Montana mainstay before the original brewery eventually closed in 1964. The Highlander name was revived in 2015, bringing the historic Montana beer into a new generation of craft brewing.

Today, Highlander brews its beers in Missoula alongside its original taproom on Grant Creek.
